Create an account and sign in to Kaldrix
Start here if you are building for yourself or working in a construction company. One person can belong to several companies in Kaldrix. After signing in, check the selected account before adding a project or a document.
What you need
Use your own email address. Password sign-in also needs an app that generates codes on your phone, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. The other option is Continue with Google.
Personal and company accounts are available. A new account has a 14-day trial without a card or an automatic charge. After the trial, you can still view your data; a Kaldrix administrator can extend editing access. Check current access in Subscription. Account type and the Basic or Pro plan are separate settings. A plan does not give people permission to use company data.
If a company has invited you, start with Accept invitation in its email. Use the address that received the invitation. Do not create another account just because you cannot see a project yet.
Register with a password
- Open the Kaldrix sign-in page and choose the option to create an account.
- Enter your first name, last name and email address. Choose a personal or company account. Enter a company name when required.
- Enter your password twice. Follow the form requirements: at least 8 characters, an uppercase and lowercase letter, a number and a special character.
- Choose Create account. Open the email from Kaldrix and confirm your address.
- Scan the QR code with your phone code app. Keep the backup codes somewhere safe.
- Enter the current phone code and confirm the setup. Continue to sign-in.
- Sign in with your email and password, then enter a code from the app.
The result is a signed-in account with a confirmed email and a second sign-in step. Sending the registration form alone does not finish the process.
Sign in with Google
Choose Continue with Google and select the correct Google account. On your first visit, choose your Kaldrix account type and complete the required details. Google provides the second sign-in step.
If an existing Kaldrix account uses a password and phone codes, first sign in that way. Then open My profile → Security → Sign-in methods and choose Connect Google. A matching email address alone does not bypass account protection.
If you cannot sign in
- No email: wait a few minutes, check spam and check that you entered the address correctly.
- Expired confirmation link: start registration again. For an invitation, ask the sender to resend it.
- Forgotten password: choose Forgot password? and use the new email link. Resetting a password does not replace the phone code.
- Incorrect code: use a current code and check that your phone sets its time automatically.
- Lost phone: use a backup code or Google if you connected it earlier. If neither is available, ask for a support staff member.
Support does not need your password, backup codes or password-reset link. Keep these out of screenshots and chat messages.
Exercise: check that your account is ready
Open My profile → Security and check your working sign-in method. Check the selected account name and your permissions under Your companies. On a shared computer, finish with Sign out.
You have completed the exercise when you recognise the correct account, can use your sign-in method and know where you keep your backup codes. Closing the browser window does not replace signing out.
