We are working on plugins that connect Kaldrix to AI agents. We want you to ask about your build in a tool you already use and get an answer based on the right project.
How will it work?
A plugin will give the agent access to Kaldrix tools within your account permissions. Instead of finding a project, opening an estimate and copying numbers into a chat, you will choose the build and describe what you need.
We are preparing solutions for ChatGPT and Codex, Claude Code, and Gemini CLI. The available features and connection steps will depend on the tool you choose.
What will be easier?
- Checking a project. Ask about the current state of your build and what needs attention next.
- Reviewing an estimate. Ask for an explanation of amounts, missing details and warnings in estimate items.
- Checking a schedule. Review stages, delays and issues that need attention.
- Less copying. The agent will use data from the connected project. You will not need to paste it into every conversation.
For example:
“Check the renovation estimate and show me which items need attention.”
Or:
“Summarise this building schedule and point out delayed stages.”
These are examples of the planned workflow. Answers will help you check the data and make a decision. Estimates and project decisions will still need your review.
Publishing in marketplaces
We plan to release the plugins in the marketplaces and directories of supported AI tools. We want it to be easy to find Kaldrix, add a plugin and connect your account.
We are currently preparing the plugins, instructions and release materials. A listing also depends on each provider’s rules and review process. This post describes work in progress; it does not mean the plugins are already available in every tool mentioned here. We have not announced a release date yet.
Your account and access
Connecting will require a Kaldrix account and permission for your chosen AI tool. Available actions will depend on the connection consent, your current permissions in the selected account, your plan and enabled features. A plan alone does not give you additional permissions.
